Playground is a video poem exploring traces of wounded plastic forest animals used in Bogenparcours (an archery practice) in Austria. Emerging from walks, observation, and a slow dialogue with the forest, the work reflects on the memory of violence carried by these forms. Approaching these figures as silent witnesses, I attempt to address them and understand what has happened to their bodies. The video unfolds as an imaginary conversation between a hand, a deer, a wounded mountain, and a musical score.

The work was created during a residency at GRUND1535 in Rietz, Austria.
